Easter/Spring Bunting...

Can you say LOVE IT!!! I do so much, it make me happy just to look at it. It's bright, its cheerful and when my girls saw it, they were both giddy too.

I used the same concept as my "Lucky" Bunting, but it is slightly different, I used fabric instead of felt for my letters.

Using clip art from my word, I sized letters and a daisy to about 4" x 3" and cut the letters and daisies out of my fun bright fabric I used on my table runner.

Next I ironed my letters onto heat and bond and then attached my fabric letters/daisies to white felt rectangles that are 7" x 5", making sure they were centered.

Next using matching thread I zig zag stitched around each of the letters to make sure it stayed, keep the edges from fraying, and give it a finished look.

To finish off my bunting, I put small cuts in the felt 3/4" in and down on the top corners of the white felt and thread a piece of yellow ribbon with white polk a dots through it.

It is definitely my favorite bunting so far!

Easter Table Runner...

I love the idea of my table runner for Easter, but wish it was bigger. It works for my small table, but I will definitely need a bigger one on a new table.

This was an easy project, and definitely totally different from my last two.

I drew a giant egg to use as a pattern and cut out two of each color. I then sewed right sides together, turned right side out, pressed and top stitched. To connect the eggs together I just used fabritac to avoid more stitching lines.

St Patty's Day Table Runner

So my friend and I had this marvelous idea for a table runner, well it was not so fabulous. We hated it so much that we didn't finish it. We were using the same concept as our Valentines Day runner, and it looked awful!!! We then switched our fabric around and still used the same concept as the Valentines runner and it looked much better.

So here is the table runner DON'T:

I honestly don't know if its that there is just too much green, or if its the shade of green, all I do know is that its awful!

And DO:

So much better, simple, calm and kelly green.

St Patrick's Day Wreath

I love this unique wreath. It turned out super fun and you definitely will not see it on anyone's door.

I cut a round wreath out of cardboard and made a ton of "barbie" pillows cinched with a thin ribbon. I tied a big ribbon and bow around the cardboard and then the "pillows" were randomly glued on to the cardboard scrunched together and overlapping. I love the fun way that it turned out, and I love that it is totally different from my Valentine's Day wreath.

St. Patricks Day Bunting

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my St Patty's Day Banner!!! I feel "Lucky" just looking at it .

This is a super simple project. I cut white felt squares that are 8" high by 7" wide. I then cut out green felt letters that are about 5" high by 4" wide. I used Fabritac to attach the letters. I found the pattern for the letters and the cute felt hat online and using word printed them off as a template. The ribbon was just weaved through and hung.

Love It!!!

Happy Crafting!!!
